Mystique's Mystical Journeys contest was a multi-million dollar production culminating in the crowning of a new Miss Mystique by Model Safari winner Erica Campbell. Over the course of 18 months, close to 4,000 models entered the contest, and through a series of semifinal rounds held around the world, nine finalists rose to the top. In August 2005, they were flown to a private island in St Vincent and the Grenadines, where parts of the movie Pirates of Caribbean was filmed. It was here the did one final photo shoot, competed in some crazy games, and had lots of fun on the island before a winner was announced.
