I'm not a very wild person. But then again, not very home-bodied either. I can’t cook. I don’t like to clean. I’m not even really for sure how to mop. I can do laundry. I can cook simple things, like heat up things in the microwave. I can make pasta. I’m Italian so I guess that just comes – inherent knowledge or something. But I don’t like to sit at home and watch TV. I don’t watch any TV actually. I go see a lot of movies. I work a lot. And I work weird hours. So, I might work till 2 in the morning doing a promotion. And the next day I have to get up at 8 for a convention.

A lot of people mess up my last name, and they say Palazzo-LA or Palazalo or whatever. It’s Palazzolo. And if you’re Italian, it’s Palazzolo.

I was always a tomboy. I was the only girl on a little boy’s soccer team. I played football. I beat up little boys. I got in trouble in school because a little boy tried to kiss me on the playground and I punched him in the eye and laid him out cold on the playground. I wasn’t a girl. I had an older brother, and he had bigger friends. And the girls were all playing with Barbie dolls, and I had Tonka trucks and Legos and I was happy.

This Italian girl was discovered at only 16 years old by a local photographer in Kansas City, where she went to high school. Jamie was born in Chicago, but as a child, she moved around a lot, and she always seemed to be roughhousing with the boys. While the other little girls were playing with their Barbie dolls, Jamie was building with her Legos and racing her Tonka trucks. Once she even got in trouble on the playground for punching a boy who tried to kiss her!

Jamie admits she’s not much of a cook, but with her Italian background, she can whip up some pasta in a flash. So, how does she keep her amazing figure? She’s been a dancer since high school. Jamie has even danced in Las Vegas in a show with an Elvis impersonator.
