Comment 1:

Being tall has its advantages and disadvantages. It's very difficult to find guys that are taller than me. When I'm flat footed it's not hard, they're usually about the same height or maybe a couple of inches, but I like to wear heels, I'm a girly girl, I like to wear heels. So I like guys that are about 6'3 or so because I can still wear heels and be shorter than them. I don't like feeling like I'm this big amazon woman.

I get embarrassed about people commenting on my body because of the way I grew up. I was the ugly duckling, I was the geek growing up and I never got those compliments when I was younger. It's something that I never thought people would say. You're very impressionable when you're young and I think that's what will stay with me for the rest of my life.

I did grow up on a farm, however I was a girly girl. From the moment I was born my mom dressed me in pink dresses and that kind of stuff and kind of typecast me as a girly girl, so as I grew up I kept doing things to break out of that mold like making mud pies. And playing in the creek down back and running around with pigs and all that stuff.

I'm a classically trained singer, I was in my first opera when I was 19 years old, first lead in Gilbert and Sullivan, it was the Gondoliers and I played Tessa, who was a very domineering woman who basically pushed her guys around and it was a lot of fun. With my degree I'd like to get my masters and doctorate and go on to teach college or private vocal lessons once I get older.

Shawn calls herself a "sweetheart with an attitude" because although she is a very loving, kind person, she can also be very blunt and honest. Sometimes her sharp tongue and sarcasm can offend people, but the truth is, she'd give her left arm to make somebody happy when it comes down to it. With a degree in music, Shawn not only looks like an angel, she can sing like one, too. She has been a performer for a long time, and in the future she looks forward to more modeling, acting and even pursuing her own music career.

Shawn says she will teach her future children that nudity is natural and normal - nothing to be ashamed of. Shawn loves people (she's a social butterfly), and she makes new friends easily. She really blazes her own trail, grabbing life by the horns and going for whatever she tries with all her might. She says taking risks and making mistakes are what makes life worth living.

At this exciting time in her life, when the world is open to her, Shawn is just enjoying the ride. Being a tall girl, her legs go on forever, and she laughingly accepts the fact that because of her long body, most regular shirts turn into belly shirts on her.
